If anything mouse acceleration can be MORE precise because it allows for you to play with a very low sensitivity (for max precision) while still being able to make quick movements like 180s without having to increase your sensitivity (which results in less precision). There is nothing about mouse acceleration that makes it less precise and there is also no reason to believe muscle memory is any different either. You'll want to disable acceleration because it allows more precise control and easier muscle memory Games are usually happy to sacrifice absolute precision for something that performs a little nicer, unless your game is basically just a physics simulation toy a "close" enough generally suffices. Stuff like the order in which the collision of each in-game object is tested for example. There's also probably the little things that while not technically non-deterministic could be hard to monitor. Probably the least severe issue regardless though. Alternatively the physics could be calculated on the spot with a fixed set of parameters the player can not change during the calculation, but that doesn't really work with a game that's actively about climbing a mountain. There's also the fact that the physics tick interval would have to be constant, which would essentially force the game to run on a fixed framerate no matter what happens. There's also the issue that game physics generally boil down to very elaborate float calculations, and floats iirc came from Satan's asshole and every OS, chip, computer, whatever can have a slightly different idea on how they want to process and round floats, which when magnified could also lead to further desyncs between different computers/setups/whatever.

If you know where to find the seed you could probably set it to always be the same and thus theoretically ensure that the calculation itself would be the same, but in practice this usually isn't all too practical. Maybe it is too inefficient to accurately calculate, maybe it solves some issues with objects falling in overly rigid ways, who knows.

It could also be issues with rounding/floating point errors, but usually it's physics shortcuts. It's because something takes shortcuts rather than being super rigorous (usually shortcutting the physics, which can be more processing intensive depending on the application). But letting the it vary from 27-33ish might provide more replayability) Ie, if you input 30deg, it's not going to send you at 60. (although if it does, it will usually tend to be small.
